New items and an inappropriate moment!

Well for starters I've added three new items to my etsy shop! The link can be found on the right hand side of the page or you can click this, https://www.etsy.com/listing/222233772/purple-knitted-owl-doorstop

And it will take you to this lil beauty!

And then you can find these aswell...

Please do go and have a lil looksy!

In other news I did this most stupid thing ever this morning.

Every morning I take my purse and phone out of my big handbag and place them in one of my many satchels for the walk to nursery.

And I did that this morning, except I didn't realise which satchel I'd picked up until I noticed to giggling six year old boy and his father and the stares of at least three disapproving mothers!

A nice jazzy print from a distance?

Yeah that's actually a print of semi naked pin up girls! It's actually one of my very favourite bags (brought for me by momma and poppa Knitwit) but I'm not sure it's entirely appropriate for nursery!

That's be calling me that loose moraled scandalous mother now! (Although some of them thought I was 15 , so I've probobly been called that already!)

Much love

A fresh new owl!

After a couple of tough days I decided I needed to get back to what I love, so I made an owl!

There's not really much I can say to be honest, it's purple becuase I've been craving cadburys (you know, unlike every other day of the week when I just crave chocolate of any kind! I have been known to buy a family sized bag of revels on occasion and eat them in one sitting, yes I disgust myself as well!)

He has a beautiful purple button on his belly and two gold rings to accent his eyes!

Anyway he's super cute! Although I am finding it hard to believe how different it is to the first ever owl I made!

I'm still using the same pattern (which I made up! Insert smug face!) so I'm unsure as to why they look so different?

Anyway I'm feeling better after getting back to my roots so to speak!

Much love

P.s I will be popping it in my etsy shop at some point!

Wine Glass Coasters/Holders!

I should probably start by saying that this pattern was given to me by one of my mummy's lovely friends! But that I think its possibly one of the best ideas I have ever seen in my life. Seriously forget the tv, everyone needs these in their life.

Now one thing I've noticed since I've grownup (yes I have grown up I have the child to prove it) is that adults love wine! you wanna know what adults also like? Stealing each other drinks by "accident"....

"oh I'm sorry I down your full glass of wonderful tasting rose, that definitely had your lipstick marks on..... I must have thought it was mine! I'm sure there's still some of that red that tastes like paint stripper left."

Yeah adults are crafty..

Adults also seem to hate coasters, not at first! The first glass its all where are your coasters isn't your home lovely but after that second glass kicks in the very idea of coasters becomes foreign.

which is why these bad boys are so awesome! not only do they help you to distinguish between who's drink its who's! they also eliminate water rings! They are basically magic!

See they just hook onto the bottom of your glass!

They travel with your glass!

and if you make them all different, everyone know who's glass is who's!

Here's a few that are up for individual sale on my etsy page!

And here's a Christmas set I've made as an order! (these are all a little but different so you can tell who's wine is who's!

But I also do full matching sets, this particular bunch is plain red!

And the best part these can be used as regular coasters too! (that's not to say that most men wont just plonk their beer can down on the first available surface!)

Much Love

Etsy Update! Scarves Ahoy!

I have just added a huge selection of scarves to my etsy shop! (link found here or on side of this page.)

Here's a visual list of all the items I added today!

So please don't hesitate to pop over to my etsy shop and make an early start on your Christmas shopping! I heard somewhere that if everyone buys one handmade item this year then those business are more likely to continue into the next!

I should probably also mention how proud of myself I am for remember how to set up an impromptu photography studio. Apparently I didn't spend as much time as I thought staring at my photography teachers bottom during class. (it really was very lovely)

Much Love

In other news! I've had to rip back my knitting once again! (I told you this pattern was my nemesis) this time I was watching magic mike and I dropped a stitch, note to self: don't knit whilst Channing Tatum's on the telly, you just cant handle it.

In other news I have two very lovely announcements to make!

1. My lovely big sister has started her own blog about renovating her and her husbands dream home, its lovely to see her in a house she really loves they both work very hard and deserve it! You can find her here :  http://ourforeverhomerenovation.blogspot.co.uk/

2. and Big Sister also finished fixing her bag strap!

I think you can see by the picture that her stitches are very neat!
and she going to be trying to accomplish the vogue 1419 pattern and I will be assisting, and maybe making a cheeky version of my own!

Now I just need to see if I can fill her home with handmade presents just like I did my Mum and Dads! Next stop WORLD DOMNATION!

Busy Little Bum Bum Bee

I'm sure to the outside world and to anybody who reads this I'm looking pretty darn lazy right now. I bet your all picturing me sat on my bottom eating biscuits, drinking tea and watching project runway marathons. Well your wrong! Sort of.

I have been sat down, I have been drinking tea and yes I might have dunked the odd biscuit or two three four packet. And project runway hasn't left my telly for a loooonnnnnng time! but its all for a good cause!

I've been working on two custom orders! (yes two!) As well as trying to prepare for this craft fair! To say I've been busy would be an under statement! Today is the first day I've found enough time to blow dry my hair after my shower, And not just leave it to dry in a bun! Which usually results in a curly mope of hair that resembles the love child of Diana Ross and Russell Brand.

Anyway it feels like its been ages since I've posted anything I've made recently! And I'm afraid you were nearly out of luck today as well! Until I remembered a painting that I started last week!

Growing up Star Wars was religion in our house, we even had the Gold Edition box set on vhs, yeah we were that good! The boy down the road only had the silver!
Any I knew that sooner or later I was going to end up doing a star wars related piece and this guy popped out at me when I was searching through one of my books. This is just the beginning phase i'm hoping that when i'm finished he's going to look really awesome, I'm hoping to go for a sort of illustration feel!

Other than that, and my custom orders (cannot wait to tell you about these! but mums the word for the moment!) I've added two new items to my Etsy shop!!!!

My voodoo Doll Plushie! - £7.50

 And

Blue Tit on Branch, watercolour and Ink Illustration - £8.00

Both of these items can be found on my Etsy Page (there a link on the right hand side of this page) And both come with gift wrapping as standard.

For anybody who doesn't know what the gift wrapping looks like here's one I did recently!

Much Love
