I should probably start by saying that this pattern was given to me by one of my mummy's lovely friends! But that I think its possibly one of the best ideas I have ever seen in my life. Seriously forget the tv, everyone needs these in their life.
Now one thing I've noticed since I've grownup (yes I have grown up I have the child to prove it) is that adults love wine! you wanna know what adults also like? Stealing each other drinks by "accident"....
"oh I'm sorry I down your full glass of wonderful tasting rose, that definitely had your lipstick marks on..... I must have thought it was mine! I'm sure there's still some of that red that tastes like paint stripper left."
Yeah adults are crafty..
Adults also seem to hate coasters, not at first! The first glass its all where are your coasters isn't your home lovely but after that second glass kicks in the very idea of coasters becomes foreign.
which is why these bad boys are so awesome! not only do they help you to distinguish between who's drink its who's! they also eliminate water rings! They are basically magic!
See they just hook onto the bottom of your glass!
They travel with your glass!
and if you make them all different, everyone know who's glass is who's!
Here's a few that are up for individual sale on my etsy page!
And here's a Christmas set I've made as an order! (these are all a little but different so you can tell who's wine is who's!
But I also do full matching sets, this particular bunch is plain red!
And the best part these can be used as regular coasters too! (that's not to say that most men wont just plonk their beer can down on the first available surface!)
Much Love

Its not that I don't love her anymore, I just dont feel how I used to....
Everyone has skeletons in their closet (pantry if your English, cupboard under the stairs if your Harry Potter)
Ex boyfriends, Friends, the odd dead body........
and looooonnnnnnggggg neglected mannequins......
Meet Matilda
This little love was a present from my lovely parents when I first became interested in dressmaking (Its hard to believe how much those guys supported and nurtured my dreams! I took it for granted so much growing up, but if your reading cheers guys!)
I believe it was secretly brought from our local auction room!
And she is hard core, I literally have no idea how old she is but trust me she is no where as new as the adjustable mannequins I've ever seen, those things are safe! No seriously, adjusting Matilda is RISKY! I nearly lost a finger once!
Her covers coming off a bit and she's missing a couple of screws, but after residing in our loft for the past two years I thought she deserved an outing and a bit of a spruce for yesterdays photo-shoot!
Ahh much better! and perfect for taking hundreds of pictures of cowls and scarves!
What's hidden in your closet?
Much Love

Etsy Update! Scarves Ahoy!
I have just added a huge selection of scarves to my etsy shop! (link found here or on side of this page.)
Here's a visual list of all the items I added today!
So please don't hesitate to pop over to my etsy shop and make an early start on your Christmas shopping! I heard somewhere that if everyone buys one handmade item this year then those business are more likely to continue into the next!
I should probably also mention how proud of myself I am for remember how to set up an impromptu photography studio. Apparently I didn't spend as much time as I thought staring at my photography teachers bottom during class. (it really was very lovely)

I'm practically an elf!
Christmas is kinda sucky blogging wise for me! I'm working on about a million (small exaggeration) projects but I can't blog about them becuase I don't want to ruin the surprise! So rather cryptically I have been doing.....
Some of this, Christmas wine glass holder/coasters
Teeny tiny embroidered words!
Some knitting!
And some of this!
What can I say? I'm a mystery wrapped in a riddle, hidden by an enigma!
In slightly more transparent news! I received an early Christmas present!
My very own copy of vouge v1419! Yay now I don't have to trace from my sisters copy!!! I'm far to excited for this coat! It's going to be a challenge but I can't wait to see how it turns out! I won't share the picture of me with the pattern that I sent to my sister but needless to say I looked like a right numpyy and I would be hideously embarrassed if she shared any of the selfies I send her on a day to day basis!
Now I just need to get it cut out and me and big sis can get started with our Muslins!
Much love

I wanna be the very best!
As promised here is lil knitwits Halloween costume (he didn't want his picture taken!)
He didn't want to be a ghost/mummy/vampire/skeleton/Frankenstein
He wanted to be a Pokemon! It's his favourite show at the minute. Now I know your suppose to be scary at Halloween but he wanted to be a Pokemon trainer and I tend to think there's enough scary things in the world as it is!
Sadly he didn't get many sweets becuase nobody was opening doors in our area! Which upset me a bit considering we give out sweets every year! Anyway after I had texted mr Knitwit how disappointed we had both been (little Knitwit actually started crying becuase no one was answering the door) he came in from his night shift with some extra sweeties for little Knitwit and some flowers for me!
Anyway even though Halloween was a disaster I thought I'd show you what I've been working on!
I seem to be getting into the habit of making my mum something every year! What can I say she loves Christmas! Althought she might get a little something else this year aswell becuase I made this up as an example for an order!
Anyway how was your Halloween?
Much love

Pumpkin!
It's Halloween guys! This is where to ghosts and ghouls come out to play! Anyway I shall be detailing what lil Knitwit will be dressed as tommorrow becuase I haven't quite decided yet! Bad I know!
But we did carve our pumpkin yesterday! As per tradition! I picked and hollowed out the pumpkin and my Knitwit carved it according to my design!
Here's our pumpkin in the beggining! (Yes I chose the biggest one I could find!)
And here's it carved! I brought a candle to go into it today so I shall be posting a photo of it on Instagram later!
Then I made pumpkin soup in my slow cooker ! I chucked in loads of pumpkin, two potatoes, a big carrot, a tomato and the last of the sweet corn!
Wanna know who hates pumpkin soup? Mr Knitwit!
Wanna know who else hates pumpkin soup? Me!!!!
Our hopes rested on young Knitwit!
Especially seen as we had three cartons of the dammed stuff!
Wanna know who likes pumpkin soup!? Not little Knitwit, little bigger spat it all over my floor!
Dammit!
Anyway apart from that I've been embroidering Christmas stocking decorations!
I have 16 to do! Best crack on!
Much love

Expanding my library!
Anyone who knows me knows I'm a huge fan of books! Especially reference books! And even better than that free books!
These came to me this week from Mr Knitwits Nan, she wasn't using them so they made there way into my grateful hands!
It's basically two books filled with cross stitch patterns and projects! And I mean filled!
Lavender sachets to keep your panties fresh! (Washing as advised as well)
Oh a snowflake! I'm getting a bit snowflake obsessed at the moment!
Various fonts! Always useful to have!
Baby booties! These are super adorable!
Anyway it's been a while since I've done any cross stitch but at least now I'll have a multitude of patterns to choose from!
These have been added to my book stack (I'll have to show you that another day! But it's pretty big!)
Much love
Frankie
