Tia the season to be .... Stupidly busy?

Having a small child at Christmas is rather like having a kissing booth manned by Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and George Clooney.... Everybody wants to visit!

No seriously at the moment we are scheduling on average two to three visits per day! As well as a birthday party yesterday! (I wore my skinny clemence and it went down very nicely indeed) and the delivering and wrapping of our own presents! And usually we finish up the day by crawling into bed!

But that leaves no room for sewing or knitting! I'm actually going stir crazy! I think the first opportunity I'm going to have to knit something is going to be Christmas Day! (I'll do it , you think I won't but I will! I'll have my turkey and then this lil lady is getting her knit on! )

Anyway this means I have very little to share, (apart from my amusing kissing booth anecdote, which you can borrow by the way!) and this...

This is a small section of my mums christmas tree! And here we have the stocking I made for her, the hoop I made for my dad and a snowflake Lil Knitwit made at nursery!

I love my mums tree it's so full of memories

Much love!

And if I don't blog again

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Looking Forward to Christmas!

After making my mum her little snowman last Christmas, and doing my stockings the year before that, I'm already starting to look towards this Christmas and what I want to make!

Anyway I'm not excited this year id say its more a determination to be organised, I've already decided what I'm getting my family and we've actually brought some things for Mr Knitwits family (should make a nice change to last year when we were finishing his shopping three days before Christmas!)

Anyway apart from the advent calendar that I'm tempted to make for the boys I've been looking at other Christmas things on pinterest. And two things have jumped out at me!

okay not the craftyiest thing in the world but it feels like it might be pretty useful in future! in fact I might even incorporate it into some nice Christmas packaging for Knitwits owls! this can originally be found at http://fitmommydiaries.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/christmas-love.html

But this is the one I really like!

I mean I think its a perfect way to show off some lovely Christmas fabric! And I know a Christmasaholic who might quite like one! it seems fairly simple as well I just think it would be a matter of making sure the finishing was beautiful! This actual item was available on etsy however its sold now, but this is the shop that stocked it  https://www.etsy.com/listing/86897151/christmas-tree-decoration-small?ref=cat2_gallery_28

So now I might just have to start one of these!

After I've finished my orders of course!

Much Love

Snowflake

I'm definitely getting into this blogging by phone malarkey, at this moment little Knitwit is eating his breakfast, so I have five minutes to blog! The only problem is I can't actually see if anyone has read it on the app, I have to go onto the laptop for that! So hello are you there? Is there anyone out there!

But it is saving me time so I think I'll risk that I'm talking to myself!

Anyway that's enough of me talking to myself! Here's what we as a family got done yesterday:
• little Knitwit learnt to colour white and blue
• we had a massive bag of sand delivered!
• mr Knitwit shifted a stack of garden slabs, I ahem watched/supervised.
• I posted a parcel from my first ever etsy sale! It's been a lonnnnnnng time since I set up and I was starting to loose heart! But it's finally happened!

• I nearly finished mr knitwits birthday shopping (and yet again I'm more excited for his birthday than he is )
• mr Knitwit painted one fence panel, it was suppose to be my job but apparently I'm a 'messy' painter.
• and I made this (notice how mr Knitwit takes care of DIY and I do the sewing)

It's for the craft fair I'm doing and I like to think that it's something that could be used in summer or winter. I think I was inspired by all the 'frozen' things that are still floating around! (I still haven't actually seen 'frozen' yet, but my expectations are getting higher by the day. So i can't wait till it pops up on sky movies!)

I added some bead again, I just think that beads and embroidery is such a beautiful combination, and I'm a sucker for anything sparkly.

Right I'm going to have to toodle because baby Knitwit has nearly finished his breakfast so it's clean up time at the zoo! But before I go what do we think of the embroidery hoop art thingy that's happening? Take a look on Pinterest there's loads! I think it's awesome I love the look of a peice of embroidery in a hoop!

Much love
